ART DIRECTOR FOR MOTION GRAPHICS

REPORTS TO: Content Director, Content Executive Producer

Direct Reports: Freelance Designers and Interns

RESPONSIBILITIES::

  • Conceptualize, storyboard, present to client, and play a large role in executing high quality gfx projects for a range of TV advertising and online applications.
  • Strive for original, innovative and relevant design and provide impactful motion graphics solutions.
  • Advertising and broadcast experience, color, and title safe, etc.
  • Work alongside a talented team of art directors, copywriters, editors, and producers.
  • Take a project from initial concept through testing, the production/post process, to final delivery under the agency directing team.
  • Deliver on commitments and meet all internal / external deadlines, with an eye to building and bringing compositions to a final and finished look in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with external artists, third party vendors and motion graphics freelancers.
  • Responsible for execution and quality control of all motion design work on assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with Directors, Designers and Production Artists working on your accounts to maintain brand consistency.
  • Responsible for taking and questioning brief effectively from Content Director/Creative Director/Art Director, and adjusting/adapting designs in response to feedback and project evaluation.
  • Responsible for delivering both conceptual and production projects.
  • Be commercially aware. Time vs. profit.
  • Assist with overseeing Content Department interns.
  • Nurture and train any Junior Motion Designers and interns as assigned to your accounts.
  • Keep up to date on technological trends and aesthetic innovations in the field of motion graphics, including the introduction of new techniques and software.

REQUIREMENTS::

  • At least 3 years work experience as a creative motion designer.
  • Ability to articulate and create complex ideas and bring them to life in motion.
  • A conceptual thinker with the confidence to be able to pitch ideas both to the team and clients.
  • Dedication, flexibility, reliability, good organizational skills, and a high degree of responsibility.
  • Advanced After Effects animation with plugin knowledge.
  • Cinema 4D, high level animation quality, rendering and lighting (Physical Render) and Basic Modeling a plus.

MARKETING MANAGER

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Insights and Marketing

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

  • Provide outstanding service to clients
  • Identify, secure and implement high level brand partnerships sales promotions & competitions
  • Maintain excellent relationships with existing promotional partners and seek to secure and develop new partnerships
  • To contribute to the achievement of departmental business objectives
  • To contribute to the effective running and development of the Marketing and Promotions team

DELIVERABLES:

  • Devise, manage and implement multiple promotional campaigns simultaneously.
  • Attend regular client meetings to both present opportunities and feedback on activity.
  • Establish and maintain excellent relationships with clients and partners.
  • Negotiate best possible value for clients.
  • Deliver expert knowledge and understanding of client and partner needs.
  • Ensure you are knowledgeable about client projects, the overall campaign strategy and how your promotional activity fits in and adds value.
  • Ensure high quality of proposals and presentations.
  • Continually review work with Client Account Teams to develop new and creative ways to add value to campaigns.
  • Ensure client satisfaction across all projects you are assigned.
  • Provide regular updates to Client Account Teams and seek their relevant input.
  • Manage more junior team members working with you on specific projects, providing guidance, support and feed back.
  • Provide support to Director of Marketing on major projects where required.
  • Work effectively with others and contribute to team success.
  • Share contacts, opportunities and ideas within the team.
  • Offer support when required to promotions campaigns run by other team members.
  • Have an awareness and understanding of departmental objectives.
  • Responsible for ensuring project objectives are raised and activity billing is done in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Contribute to departmental rate cards and overall profitability.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

  • Minimum 4 years experience in advertising, marketing or press in the entertainment industry.
  • Can work autonomously.
  • Actively seeks solutions to problems.
  • Understands and delivers against financial goals on assigned projects.

SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

REPORTS TO: Vice President of Digital and Digital Account Supervisor

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

  • Define and implement social media campaigns and manage project requirements
  • Develop brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and encouraging product adoption
  • Manage social media presence, campaigns and day to day activities
  • Set effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media efforts and report campaign results and success metrics

DELIVERABLES:

Define and implement social media campaigns and manage project requirements

  • Work alongside the Social Supervisor and Digital Account Supervisor to propose and execute social media campaign initiatives
  • Propose appropriate social platforms based on client requirements and target audience
  • Work alongside the Social Supervisor and Digital Account Supervisor to implement the set social media strategy, working with internal team members as well as the client to ensure its effectiveness
  • Encourage adoption of relevant social media techniques into the company and client culture

Develop brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and encouraging product adoption

  • Work with the Marketing/Promotions department and the Digital Account Supervisor to generate awareness and positive WOM via our brand partner channels
  • Manage and execute campaign content and initiatives to ensure maximum reach and conversation
  • Create a positive brand conversation and promote online brand advocacy
  • Develop creative campaign ideas and innovative initiatives to maximize social success, drive brand advocacy and audience

Manage social media presence, campaigns and day-to-day activities

  • Create social media scope of work documents that outline all project requirements, goals set, social guidelines, tone of voice and roles and responsibilities
  • Work with the Social Supervisor to create social media calendars that outline daily activity and campaign initiatives
  • Manage daily social moderation and posting as needed alongside the Social Supervisor
  • Ideate and manage the development of social media content with the creative team ensuring we deliver engaging campaigns that meet the clients’ needs
  • Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities based on the approved social strategy
  • Become an advocate of the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
  • Manage blogger outreach programs alongside your Account Manager/Supervisor
  • Work with the Social Supervisor to advise social media spend and set up, optimize and analyze social campaigns
  • Attend client events and creative shoots to capture content as required

Set effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media efforts and report campaign results and success metrics

  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
  • Regularly feed back insights gained from social media monitoring into the Marketing and Digital teams, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications

REPORTS TO: Client Services Group Director

POSITION OBJECTIVES:

  • Provide outstanding service for clients.
  • Manage resources across all accounts to focus on key areas in order to achieve desired results.
  • Retain existing business.
  • Seek to improve efficiencies within the department.
  • Assist in media negotiation and booking.
  • Collating comprehensive meeting notes and communicating action items.

DELIVERABLES:

Provide outstanding service for clients.

  • Support Client Services team in developing and executing a variety of client account campaigns as assigned.
  • Establish and maintain excellent professional relationship with clients.
  • Collating comprehensive meeting notes and communicating action items.
  • Provide regular updates to CS Group Directors, Senior Account Supervisors, and Senior Client Account Executives and seek their relevant input.
  • Drive the team to deliver outstanding client service by anticipating, recognizing and meeting client needs and provide the best value for money in terms of cost/advice.
  • Ensure views expressed by the client are acknowledged and discussed whilst ensuring the right course of action for achieving the project goals.
  • Communicating artwork revisions and trafficking materials.
  • Serve as a liaison to internal departments to ensure that initiatives are executed properly.
  • Ensure client satisfaction and retention across all projects for which you are responsible.
  • Strive for personal accountability.

  • Attend industry events to represent the agency and network with both existing and potentially new clients.

Seek to improve efficiencies within the department and across the company

  • Work closely with other teams to seek improved communication and delivery.

Assist in media buying and strategy with Senior CS members

  • Assist with all media bookings including the creation of media orders.
  • Always strive to increase media knowledge, under the tutelage of senior CS members.
  • Responsible for management of ABC listings on a weekly basis.
