GOOD BUSINESS TAKES IT TO THE STREETS

A recent article in Forbes highlighted the power of one of Broadway’s greatest tried-and-true sales methods: The Street Team—and the best methods outlined closely mirror the model behind AKA’s Broadway Ambassador program. The article argues that, in a digital era full of clutter, a human voice and face-to-face interaction cannot be underestimated. Conversion rates on personal sales marketing through street teams can be as high as 20% of all interactions—because “Rather than staring at a screen, consumers get to interact directly with products and services, and their questions can be answered by the person standing right next to them…In today’s digital age, building a personal connection with consumers goes a long way towards fulfilling your brand’s goals.”
