The paparazzi were out for Billy Crudup’s opening night in the mesmerizing one-man comedy-thriller, Harry Clarke, at the Minetta Lane Theatre. Produced by Audible, the David Cale-penned, Leigh Silverman-directed limited run play, a critical hit at the Vineyard Theatre last fall, plays downtown in the West Village through May 13th.  Simon Baker, Naomi Watts, and Edie Falco were amongst the star-studded audience at opening night.  The critics love the Minetta production, including The New Yorker’s Michael Schulman who called Billy Crudup’s performance “funny and sexy.”  The New York Times called it “delicious,” while the Observer called it “hilarious” and an “exhilarating triumph.” Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.
