Celebrating the Metropolitan Opera’s New Season

It had been almost 30 years since the Gershwin’s beloved Porgy and Bess was seen at Metropolitan Opera, so it was especially exciting when a stylish and deeply emotional production opened the Met’s 19-20 season last month. AKA planned and executed the advertising for the season launch, with the Met’s “VoicesRise” campaign appearing on buses, digital out-of-home, and subway liveaboards; on both linear and addressable TV; on nytimes.com and digital ad networks; and in the pages of The New York Times, The New Yorker and New York Magazine. 

This fall, AKA will help spread the word about the Met’s recently introduced Sunday matinees, which for the first time allow opera-goers to enjoy their favorite titles (including Porgy and Bess on October 13) in a relaxed Sunday atmosphere.
