EMPIRE OUTLETS IS WHERE NY IS GOING

The world’s largest gathering of retail outlet executives came to New York on September 18th for the ICSC conference and AKA’s work for New York City’s first outlet mall—Empire Outlets—was on full display for the industry’s leaders.

AKA’s work on Empire Outlet’s brand rolled out this September with a retailer-focused brochure and a series of ads running in industry publications. Synthesizing up-to-date construction photography with the consumer fantasy of illustrator Holly Nichols and fashion photography, the creative positions Empire Outlets (and Staten Island’s north shore district St. George) as the dynamic retail and lifestyle center that New Yorkers and tourists are destined to flock to when the centerpiece of New York’s newest entertainment district opens in March 2018.

Empire Outlet, NYC’s first and only outlet destination, has been developed by BFC Partners and will offer 100 shops offering the city’s best values, 40,000 square feet of waterfront dining, and some of the best views of New York Harbor and the Manhattan skyline.
