We visited Hawaii to create an innovative and interactive mobile guide to the New York Botanical Garden’s exhibit Georgia O’Keeffe: Visions of Hawai’i.
The guide used 360-degree video and in-depth historical information to let guests explore the wonders of Hawai’i that inspired O’Keeffe herself. Using advanced location-aware technology, users can engage automatically based on where they stand in the Garden. The technology also allows users to add unique frames to photos they shoot during their visit.
The mobile guide won 5 Davey Awards, including a Gold Award for best user experience for mobile. To view the guide on a mobile device yourself, visit nybg.org/mobile
